Hammarskjold Street Festival on 2nd Avenue
Sat. August 30th
Hammarskjold Plaza is the epicenter of this street festival which extends from 45th to 57th Street. An array of vendors keep bargain hunters busy on Labor Day Weekend, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Friends of DHP for park upkeep.
This is also a great time to tour the park's Katharine Hepburn Garden and be wowed by all the colorful caladiums.
